Before: Scratched, Dull & Tired Oak Floor
The original finish had worn down unevenly over time, especially in high-traffic areas. Scratches, dull patches and ingrained dirt had left the floor looking tired and patchy.
We started by inspecting the floor and identifying areas that required more intensive sanding. Our Lagler PST® equipment allowed us to sand virtually dust-free, keeping disruption to a minimum.
The Process
- Gap Filling – We filled gaps between boards using a flexible filler mixed with floor sanding dust to create a smoother, seamless look.
- Sanding – Precision multi-stage sanding for a flat, even finish.
- Finishing – Application of two coats of commercial-grade semi-gloss lacquer.
The Result
The transformation was immediate. The semi-gloss finish enhanced the natural grain of the oak and reflected just enough light to make the space feel warm and inviting — while offering excellent durability for day-to-day living.
