Travetine floor clean and seal.

Our customer was struggling to keep their Travertine Floor clean – dirt was building up in the grout lines and natural texture of the stones.We found that the stone floor cleaner being used was causing a sticky residue to build up, attracting dirt and leaving the floor looking tired, dirty – the customer was contemplating replacing the floor.DAB Cleaning were called to restore the travertine back to its best, using a special stone cleaner, high powered rinse machine to get rid of all the dirt. We then gave the floor a light polish and used a professional stone sealer to ensure that the floor stays looking its best!

Yorkstone floor clean and seal.

Yorkstone floor can give a lovely traditional feel to a period property – particularly if the original floor is present. Yorkstone is a hardwearing & durable type of sandstone, quarried since the middle ages, and used for flooring, paving and even roofing!

We carry out yorkstone floor restoration, removing all the historic build up of dirt and grime, as well as any seals that have been added over the years – cleaning the stone and then applying a seal that absorbs into the stone, allowing it to breath while preventing water and oil based stains.

Slate floor clean and seal.

Slate floor is a popular floor type, with a wide variety of tile size and slate colours, our customer had had this floor installed a decade previously and a topical seal applied to the surface. The seal was now worn and was making cleaning difficult, as well as making the floor look tired.

With a thorough clean and strip of the remaining seal, we were able to take the slate back to it’s natural state, ensure the grout was thoroughly cleaned. Once fully dry we applied a colour enhancing seal to protect the slate and really make the natural colours pop!
