Restaurant LVT Floor Cleaning in Oldham

A restaurant in Oldham called us in because the luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floor just wasn’t responding to daily mopping. The floor was being cleaned every day, but the client still wasn’t getting the results he needed.
This was a deep clean only, with no refinishing involved. The aim was simple: remove the grime that had built up over time and leave the floor looking clean and fresh.

Why Daily Mopping Stops Working on LVT
In a busy restaurant, a floor takes a lot of punishment from foot traffic, spills and general kitchen and dining-room grime. A standard mop and bucket can end up moving dirt around rather than lifting it, and over time a layer of grime can build up on the surface of the LVT.
When that happens, more mopping doesn’t solve the problem. The floor needs a different approach.
How We Deep Cleaned the Floor
We used a three-stage process to get the floor back to a properly clean state:
- Specialist cleaning product. We applied a specialist cleaner designed to loosen the built-up grime and dirt.
- Professional scrubber dryer. We went over the floor with a professional scrubber dryer machine, which scrubs the surface and lifts the loosened dirt away in the same pass.
- Neutral rinse. Finally, we rinsed the floor with a neutral cleaner to leave it clean and fresh.
No coating or finish was applied. The result comes from properly removing what had built up, not from covering it.
